Foreign Ministers of India and Greece meet in Delhi — Greek City Times

This is the first visit of Foreign Minister Dendias to India who was invited to the country by Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. Jaishankar who traveled to Athens on June 26, 2021.

This exchange of visits will further consolidate and strengthen the multifaceted relationship between India and Greece, reads the press release from the Foreign Ministry.

India and Greece maintain close and friendly ties, rooted in a rich historical past. The two ministers will undertake a comprehensive review of bilateral relations and will also discuss regional and international issues of mutual concern, the MEA said.

The two ministers are also expected to discuss developments in Ukraine, the Indo-Pacific region, the Eastern Mediterranean and other issues of international concern.

During his stay in New Delhi, the Greek Foreign Minister will visit the Vice President and President of the Rajya Sabha, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu.

Advance the multifaceted and flourishing cooperation between Greece and India, both bilaterally and multilaterally.

Shared commitment to international law, incl. Law of the sea.

Developments in Ukraine, Eastern Mediterranean and Indo-Pacific.
